Elphinstone Reef is an offshore coral reef in the southern Red Sea near Marsa Alam, Egypt, about 400 meters long, running north-south with sheer walls dropping past 100 meters. Reachable only by boat, it is a well-known dive site for oceanic whitetip and hammerhead shark sightings, with a natural rock arch near its southern plateau around 25 meters deep.
