The Dendera Temple complex in Qena, Egypt, is centered on the Temple of Hathor, begun under Ptolemy II in the 3rd century BCE and completed under Roman rule, making it one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. The Temple of Seti I at Abydos is a New Kingdom sandstone and limestone temple built in the 13th century BC, renowned for its finely carved reliefs.
